Expensive, Warranty worthless, product breaks within a few months
This is a combination review for two of Nexus’ products, but this review applies to all three products I’ve purchased. Therefore, this review will be in duplicate for the other two Nexus products I purchased. The Revo Intense was the first Nexus product I purchased, soon followed by the Revo Extreme. Both of these products worked well for a time, but after about a month and a half of use (for all three products), they all had various issues. Please see below for the specific problems the devices had because I want to get to the crux of why I’m only giving one star, which reflects why I’m so upset at this company’s customer service response. These products are very expensive when you compare them to other products. I purchased all three off Amazon and the total I spent about to $425 dollars ($97, $155, and $175, respectively), and I spent that because I was under the impression Nexus has a strong warranty program. However Nexus will eventually ignore your emails. I first reached out to Nexus via their website sometime in mid February. They reached back out to me sometime near the end of February. I had to follow up multiple times to get a reply at certain points in our conversation. They requested the purchase information (I screen shotted my Amazon records) and they also wanted videos showing the problem I had. I did as requested but they couldn’t find the videos. I went through that process three times, and they claimed on the last time that they had email/computer problems which is why they took a week to get back to me. Note that each time I sent the videos they would take three for four business days to get back to me, and sometimes only after I followed up. After their claimed computer issues, they told me that they had some other application/site/thing they could send me so I could attach the videos. Unfortunately I never found out how to use their solution because they stopped responding to my emails. I followed up twice, giving them about two weeks in total to respond to me the very last time. Note that at this point it has been about a month and a half since I first reached out to them. It actually has been maybe another week since and I haven’t received a response from my email trying to follow up. I was given another email for a customer service person “Becky Elite”, and in my last follow up I made sure to email both her as well as the main email I found on their website. So yeah, this process has been EXTREMELY frustrating for me. I feel like I’ve given them ample time and opportunities to provide warranty service, but they’re ignoring me. Nothing pisses me off more when you’re trying your best and the other party just doesn’t give a. So for the sake of your own pocket books, THIS IS NOT THE ONE. Pick another company because if you have issues with their products, they will ignore you and not help. Their products are terribly overpriced and I would’ve overlooked this fact and considered them “premium” if their customer service was good. It is a shame because I otherwise though the products worked well when they didn’t break. It should be noted they were not abused, heavily used, or anything like that. Finally, I plan on putting this detailed review in other places online, in part because they’re ignoring my valid request for warranty, and in part because these are expensive and you’ll end up wasting your money. I also have records of everything, including the email conversations. I would’ve included them in a pastebin or something but from what I’ve read Amazon only allows links to other Amazon products. The specific issues/problems with the devices: The Intense stopped charging and stopped turning on. The first Extreme’s moving part broke, leaving only the vibration functional. Fortunately it still charges. The second Extreme I purchased doesn’t charge at all but it’ll try to turn on with the LED indicator glowing dimly before shutting off. The second Extreme purchase was a bit of an accident, I initially made the order, saw it would take too long for me to receive, so I tried to cancel it and ordered another. Unfortunately the seller denied my request to cancel, even though I requested the cancellation about an hour after I made the other. This explains why I have two.
