なかなか良い感じ

高齢の父が使用しています。 起きている時はなかなか良い感じなのですが、寝起きは脂肪がないせいか違和感があります。 脂肪がある方なら違和感も少ないかもしれません。 今は4日に一度交換しているのですが、もう少しコスパが良いと頼みやすいと思いました。

Open barrier rings with guide spout

These barrier rings work as expected. They are easy to put on and easy to take off. I found they were effective at keeping a good seal. The attached spout was nice to make sure it all went where it was supposed to. I like the open channel on the top as I find it’s easier to put on with the opening. Just malleable enough to get a tight seal without stretching.

Intriguing Idea but Won’t Work for Everyone

It has been a little over a year since I got a urostomy. I’m always looking for decent options for barriers to avoid leakage. These are a unique concept. This package is a 4-pack of L-shaped stoma rings with an output direction spout. They have a diameter of 2.4″ and a thickness of 2mm. It took me a little bit to get used to these, however, once I got the basic concept I was able to apply them pretty easily. They seem to function fairly well, however, I can’t help but think that will depend on the size and shape of your stoma. These are a little more expensive than most, however, I’d imagine when they work well they’ll work really well. They definitely work for me and yet I’m not sure I see a massive difference between these and my traditional ostomy ring. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with these ostomy barrier rings. I wouldn’t call them a game-changer, however, for those who’ve struggled to find a good barrier these offer a unique concept that is worth a try. I’d call them good but not great.

Great wear time, even if you only get four of them.

These seals are a game changer. I just got 5 days out of this seal. I can count the number of times I’ve gotten 5 days out of a seal on my fingers. These are very different from the flat, moldable seals you normally get. You fit them by overlapping the ends over each other with the little lip positioned at the bottom of the stoma. The adhesive holds well, and removes easily. I had no adverse reaction to it, which is something I am usually very alert for, especially since I’ve had some bad reactions to adhesives in the past. I have to admit that I was puzzled about the quantity of seals that I received. Typically, I get anywhere from 10 to 30 seals per package with other brands. This brand sent me 4 seals. Which was kind of weird. But, on the plus side, they don’t cost very much and I get a longer wear time. Overall, I do like them. But, I only gave them 4 stars because of the small quantity and the directions were unclear.
